Current research interests are in the field of biomolecular modeling with a special focus on membrane biophysics and on the problems relevant to biomedical applications such as drug and gene delivery. Atomic-scale molecular dynamics simulation techniques are mainly employed along with models of lower resolution and free-energy calculations.
Recent projects include:
- Asymmetric Phospholipid Membranes
- Pore-Mediated Ion Transport Across Phospholipid Membranes
- Transmembrane Lipid Translocation (Flip-Flop)
- Interactions of Small Solutes with Phospholipid Membranes
- Cationic Lipid Membranes
- Dendrimers as Novel Nano-Sized Vectors for Drug and Gene Delivery
